Good Luck at the Sharpe Music Stand and at "Stars In The Yard."

You are guaranteed to have Great Fun together with terrific audiences at both venues.

The Ould Lammas Fair
by John Henry MacAuley

At the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle long ago
I met a pretty colleen who set me heart a-glow
She was smiling at her daddy, buying lambs from Paddy Roe
At the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle-O!
Sure I seen her home that night
When the moon was shining bright
From the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle-O!

Chorus

At the Ould Lammas Fair boys were you ever there
Were you ever at the Fair In Ballycastle-O?
Did you treat your Mary Ann
To some Dulse and Yellow Man
At the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle-O!

In Flander's fields afar while resting from the War
We drank Bon Sante to the Flemish lassies O!
But the scene that haunts my memory is kissing Mary Ann
Her pouting lips all sticky from eating Yellow Man
As we passed the silver Margy and we strolled along the strand
From the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle-O!

Chorus

At the Ould Lammas Fair boys were you ever there
Were you ever at the Fair In Ballycastle-O?
Did you treat your Mary Ann
To some Dulse and Yellow Man
At the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle-O!

There's a neat little cabin on the slopes of fair Knocklayde
It's lit by love and sunshine where the heather honey's made
With the bees ever humming and the children's joyous call
Resounds across the valley as the shadows fall
Sure I take my fiddle down and my Mary smiling there
Brings back a happy mem'ry of the Lammas Fair

Chorus

At the Ould Lammas Fair boys were you ever there
Were you ever at the Fair In Ballycastle-O?
Did you treat your Mary Ann
To some Dulse and Yellow Man
At the Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle-O!

NOT FORGETTING, THOSE THAT CANNOT REMEMBER.

SKY DIVE FOR ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY!

TOMORROW IS THE DAY -
WED 28 JULY AT 14.00HRS

At Wild Geese Airfield,
Garvagh, Co. Derry.

The Nathan Carter Band has been ‘Flying High’ since it’s
Launch in Cookstown, just 26 weeks ago.

The Band has been travelling the length and breadth of Ireland,
Winning-over, new fans at every venue played.

Then there was Nathan’s personal achievement of receiving Four
“Best Newcomer” Awards.

Along came the First Album
“The Way That You Love Me.”
This was a huge success and is still, selling like “Hot Cakes.’

Then followed 'A String of Single Releases;’

“Face On The Cutting Room Floor” – “How Could I Love Her So Much,”
“Break My Mind” – “Where Do You Go To My Lovely,”
“Games People Play” (plus one?).

The Nathan Carter Band, will be ‘Flying High’ tomorrow again – this time for Charity. The good cause recipient, will be
The Alzheimer’s Society.

To the Sky Divers, I offer this piece of advice:-

“When, your Professional Instructor says JUMP! Don’t ask HOW HIGH?

That wee two word question is reserved for James Mc.

When he says Jump!
Then you must ask - HOW HIGH? lol.

Best of Luck and Enjoyment, your family, friends and fans everywhere and I, will be wishing, that you all “HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE.”

Best regards,

Brian

NOT FORGETTING, THOSE THAT CANNOT REMEMBER.

SKY DIVE FOR ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY

ONLY NINE DAYS TO THE SKY DIVE

Wed 28 July - at Wild Geese Airfield, Garvagh, Co. Derry at 14.00hrs

Every member of this illustrious SKY DIVE TEAM has a ‘leading role’ within the Nathan Carter Band.

It is in fact, a veritable Who’s Who, of those who hold Lead and Leading roles.

Nathan, Lead Singer; James, Co. Lead Manager; Stevie, Lead Keyboards; Gareth, Lead Drummer; Seamus, Lead Guitar and Brendan, Lead Road Manager

May I suggest, that for a really GOOD START on the Day of the Challenge, the personnel might consider, calling yourselves “THE JUMP LEADS?”

I hope you raise a ‘Ton of Money,’ for this wonderful Charity, the Alzheimer’s Society.

Best Wishes to you all,

Brian

NOT FORGETTING, THOSE THAT CANNOT REMEMBER.

SKY DIVE FOR ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY

Wed 28 July at 14.00hrs at Wild Geese Airfield, Garvagh, Co. Derry

How generous of Nathan and fellow band members Seamus, Stevie and Gareth, together with co-manager, James and road manager Brendan, to undertake this Charity Sky Dive for a much-loved Charity.

I have personal family experience of Alzheimer’s disease, which is the most common form of dementia. To look, at your own mother’s face, and her not recognising you, or knowing who she is, is truly perplexing.

There are 750,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2025.

This incurable, degenerative and terminal disease, was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist Alois Alzheimer, in 1906 and was named after him.

I am sure, that Fans of the Nathan Carter Band and many other Band’s and Radio presenters all over Ireland, will fanfare this CHARITY SKY DIVE.

To Nathan, Seamus, Stevie and Gareth, James and Brendan,

Gentlemen,

You have undertaken a magnificent, Charity Fundraising Challenge, your, families, friends and your Fans, will be very proud of you all.

And rightly so.

Best wishes to you all,

Brian
